NWRG values and respects the time and effort that our respondents spend when participating in market, opinion, and social research studies and we recognize that they provide information must be treated with great care.
Research Participant Information
All individual responses to our research are completely confidential. Information collected is combined with information gathered from other survey participants and shown in aggregate excluding personally identifiable information, unless otherwise evident within the survey. The data collected in our studies are used for research purposes only, and our use of that information is strictly limited to that purpose.
Northwest Research Group, and all of our partners and clients do not sell any participant information. We recognize that to do so not only serves as a violation of our research participations’ trust, but is also in violation of market research standards.
Research participation is voluntary for all of our studies and participants have the opportunity to decline involvement or to “opt out” of the research at any time. We do not collect personal information without the consent of the research participant. All participants are informed as to the purpose for which we collect and use their information and we will not mislead a participant regarding the nature of the research or how the information will be used. We provide a toll-free contact number or an email address to contact us with any inquiries or complaints.
NWRG is a member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (“CASRO”), the professional trade association of survey research companies. Morpace adheres to the mandated CASRO Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research. We do not rent, sell or give personal information to any third party for the purpose of directly marketing any products or services. In some cases we may need to share personal information with third parties that provide research services in support of the research project. Any third party that receives personal information is obligated to follow all of the same privacy protection regulations as followed by Northwest Research Group and are required to sign an agreement that clearly states the limitations on use of this information.
Disclosure of Personal Information
NWRG will not disclose any individual’s personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or if NWRG is required or permitted by law or court orders to collect, use, and / or disclose personal information; notice may not be required.
Personal information may also be disclosed when the survey instrument clearly states that the information will be disclosed or, when a participant makes a request during the survey that can only be fulfilled by disclosing information from the survey.
We do not knowingly make direct contact children under the age of 16 without consent from a parent or guardian. If we require survey information from children, we contact the parent or guardian to arrange the survey activities and we encourage the parent or guardian to closely monitor and participate in the survey activities.
We maintain all necessary physical, electronic and procedural security measures to help safeguard client data and research participants’ personal information. Third parties that provide us with support or services may also receive client data or personal information, and we require them to maintain security measures similar to ours with respect to such information.
NWRG will take reasonable steps to ensure the personal data is accurate, complete, current and relevant, being used only for the intended purposes.
